Do you ever feel like your signature is wildly inappropriate when responding to certain threads. I have seen some really serious/sad threads, and someone responds. Then right under that there are dancing bananas, crazy pictures, etc. Do you ever feel like editing your signature for certain posts?

yeah sometimes i feel weird responding to a serious thread witht he stuff i put on my siggies.

I actually have never thought of that - thats a good point!

I am sure though that most DISsers are not offended at sigs in serious threads - I would hope not! Sigs are a pain to change!

There is an option at the bottom of the screen where can click off "show your signature." I haven't used it, but I think it would be appropriate if you think about it at the time you post.

I've never thought about it. I actually recognize most posters by the signature.

yes, sometimes, i feel odd posting on sad threads because of them..
