Signature for Thanksgiving?

For our November we only plan on going to one signature restaurant. If you were only going to dine at one signature over 6 night stay would you go on Thanksgiving or skip it that day and do something more traditional and go another night?I am wondering if it is exceptionally crazy and overpriced that evening (not sure if there are set menus etc).

If you would go to a signature on Thanksgiving which would you choose? Any reviews from years past?I was thinking possibly Artist Point or Cali Grill, although we are also big fans of Citricos. TIA!

You could do LTT for thanksgiving dinner.

The signature prices won't change for time of year. I do not personally recommend Artist Point because I had a TERRIBLE experience there a few years ago.

However, I recommend Yachtsman Steakhouse for any holiday meal. We went there for Christmas Day and it was phenomenal.

Personally, unless you're stuck on traditional fare for that day I would do LTT for a different day (maybe day before) and do a signature day of.

I would choose California Grill or Artist's Point. We went to California Grill for Christmas and it was wonderful-amazing food and wine, fantastic atmosphere. We had a wonderful experience at Artist's Point. We found it to be quieter than most signature restaurants, and the food/wine was amazing. You can't go wrong with either location!

As for no-signature, we had Thanksgiving at Boma one year and had zero complaints. Boma is a wonderful meal in itself, but added on Thanksgiving dishes made it even better!

We did Christmas at CA Grill one year, too, and it was a lovely way to celebrate + we got a fireworks view. Thanksgiving would be similar, I think.

With very few exceptions, the menus and prices don't change for holidays so you're safe there. We aren't big turkey people so we were not interested in turkey for Thanksgiving but instead just wanted a special meal/s. This year, we had lunch at 50's PT (fun to be in "mom's kitchen" when we couldn't be in our mom's kitchen!) and dinner at 'Ohana and both were fantastic. We are still undecided where to dine this year so you have me pondering a signature place instead for a change

I don't eat signature often but we did have a great meal at Yachtsman a few years ago and at Citricos. I am not loving the CA Grill menu right now.

We decided to be adventurous on Thanksgiving, a few years ago. We were a party of 17. We ate at Jiko. Don't be like me. Don't be adventurous with your family's Thanksgiving dinner. If you are lucky, they will let you live to regret it!!

Oh gosh. Sorry that happened. We are actually staying at AKL but I have had hit and miss experiences at Jiko. I am willing to travel. I have to talk to the family and see if they just want turkey or they don’t mind something else!

I went to Quebec City one Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful lovely trip. On Thanksgiving day which also happened to be my travel friend's birthday we had a fabulous meal. But I found that I really missed not getting to have a Thanksgiving dinner that year. (Canada's Thanksgiving is on a different date).

I'm not a huge fan of turkey, but I missed all the "trimmings".

Haven't been there for T-Day yet but of the signature restaurants I think I would like Brown Derby @ HS for my meal. In years past they have expanded their menu on Thanksgiving to include turkey and fixings. Ate there Christmas Day in 2017 and it was the proper setting for a traditional holiday meal and a nice contrast to the holly jolly cacophony of being on the rides. Guests dressed pretty relaxed but not as if your always drunk uncle was there.
