We are on the deluxe dining plan this fall (myself, DH and DD4). If we eat at the Brown Derby, will they also charge my daughter for 2 TS credits? If so, I tend to think it would be cheaper for me to pay OOP for her meal and then save her TS credit for a character breakfast the day we leave. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Melissa

They do charge 2TS credits for kids, and you're right - it'd be money better spent for character breakfasts.

Signature dining is fairly inexpensive for children OOP. We did this with my DS 4 last October.

(I think that Character Buffets for breakfast - especially Chef Mickey's cost more OOP than paying OOP for your kids meal at HBD)

I like the idea that they charge 2TS for the children as well. I feel that would tend to encourage patronage by children skewed more towards those who would be more likely to behave in a manner more supportive of the atmosphere of a better restaurant.

Couple of considerations: What would you do with your daughter's extra extra TS credit (you use two each for the adult at HBD, while she uses none; then she uses one for the Character Breakfast = 1 leftover child TS credit). And then there's the matter of how much you would pay OOP for the adults' meals at that character breakfast.
