Sign at FW Dock is gone

Well, this morning on our way to MK, we watched the guys taking down the sign over the boat dock. It's kind of ironic because there was just a thread on the same subject acouple weeks ago about the sign being in bad shape. I asked the guys that were taking down the sign if they were replacing it. One guy said that it would be replaced but the other guy said it would be awhile because they haven't even built the new sign yet.

It sure does look empty now when you walk down the boat dock. An icon is gone.

How sad . I was hoping it would still be there in July. I wanted to get a pic.

I agree so sad. I have been to FW many many times and never took a picture of the sign. It was in really bad shape but we were hoping it would stay ahile longer.

Oh man, that stinks. They'll probably replace it with another one of those Mickey with a walking stick instead of the good old classic Mickey with a musket. Boo Hoo.
