Now that our DVC Memberships include access to RCI's Rental Weeks (see this discussion, starting at post #4), let's hunt for some bargains in the Extra Vacations (SM) Getaways and Last Call (SM) Vacations !

Today I found the following. How about you?

• Thanksgiving 2017: There are 48 available weeks, from 38 different US resort locations, offered for the period spanning Thanksgiving (check-in on 11/17; check-out on 11/24) showing today. This includes 8 or more 2BR units ($319/week) and 33 1BR units ($294/week). A sample resort list:

• Woodstone at Massanutten, VA; 12 available units ... a mix of 1BR and 2BR units each covering the July 4th holiday; $770-850/week
  
• Vacation Village at Weston, FL; 6 available units ... a mix of 1BR and 2BR units each covering the July 4th holiday; $560-660/week
  
• The Falls Village, Branson, MO; 1BR unit check-in 6/29; $630/week

How far did you get? What error messages or problems did you encounter?

Which browser? Can you try a different browser? Have you tried clearing browser cache and cookies, restarting the browser, etc?

Something goes wrong for me. If I search extra or last call vacations I get results with a $ cost, but if I click on any additional filter on the left or try to go to the following page, the "extra vacation" search parameter is lost and I get results in points.
Does it happen to someone else?

I was amazed at some of the prices for resorts in the northeast during the winter. Are there a lot of "other" fees added to the costs? I've never booked one before.

Yeah, I've seen that behavior, too. Seems to clear on its own when I try later ... or perhaps it cleared because I'd rebooted, cleared my browser cache, cleared cookies, etc. in between attempts. Worst case, I sometimes switch browsers. On my Mac, RCI's website prefers Firefox over Safari.

Maybe. Be sure to read the 'Urgent Information' posted below the table of Available Units. For example, one resort picked at random includes the info quoted below. Be especially alert when booking resorts in Mexico or Caribbean as these are often "All Inclusive" with additional fees.

• Security deposit is 150.00 U.S. dollars. Cash or Credit is accepted.
• Security deposit is 5.00 U.S. dollars. Cash or Credit is accepted.
  • Per day

• Policy Restrictions

Thanks, I have now tried Firefox (which I never used for DVC bookings), after Chrome and Edge, and same behaviour. I'm trying to see availability for extra vacations adding Europe as a filter, but I can only see the first page results, if I try to add more parameters or go to page 2, I go back to availability with points. That's a bit frustrating.
