We had great views of Nassau and the Christmas tree/snowman display at Castaway Cay on our 4 day Wonder cruise Nov 28 - Dec 2, 2004. I especially liked sitting at night and watching the water with the moonlight shining on it. Oh yeah....we also saw some waves (but no cast of "Lost" !!!!)
I'll be on deck 2 cabin 2070 on March 24! Those waves stopped the ship from docking? Looks like Seaside Heights, NJ! I can enjoy looking at that for a few days though! Thank you!

Yes, the waves/wind were too much to anchor at Grand Cayman...the Grand Cayman Port Authority would not let any cruise ships anchor (GC has no dock for cruise ships).....but we head to in Cozumel and did an overnight there which was tons of fun!!!
Really? I went there for 17 years till I bought a vacation house in the Pocono's two years ago. Can't do everything I guess
I miss the ocean though and will try to go again this summer. The North end near Ortley is still quiet and the water is beautiful there in spite of contrary beliefs. Every year we saw dolphins from the shore!
On our first cruise on The Magic we saw The Wonder returning to Port Canaveral. DH got it on the video camera. To be honest, we didn't know that it was the Wonder but thought it was odd that it was going the opposite way. When we returned someone mentioned the time that they pass that Saturday night and I realized from the time frame on the camera what we had seen.
We were on the Wonder in December and as we were rebooking, we looked out to see dolphins playing in the water. It was way cool! Unfortunalty, we didn't have the camera with us.
What, did someone mention LOST? My favorite new program?! Sorry, we haven't been on our first Disney cruise yet so I have nothing to contribute relative to your question, but I had to jump in when I saw LOST....don't ya just love it?!?!
On our first Disney cruise Magic no Wonder yet and only the 2nd cruise that had less than 2,000 onboard that year. I was looking out my porthole and caught sight of something colorful and thought it couldn't be what i though it was so we watched for awhile as it was getting closer. Yupp what do you know it was a blow up beach ball and it floated pass our window.
We saw dolphins playing near the ship while docked at Port Canaveral. I have about 15 pictures of the water outside of our porthole (Deck 1). Those little buggers went back under whenever I snapped a picture.
Last week we saw several dolphins playing around the ship while still at Port in Florida then while going out at sea (I think after leaving Bahamas) we saw a whale jumping around for a long time.
This proved to be the highlight of our trip because other than that we saw waves!
