Had to take granddaughter in for an eye exam today. She came home with glasses. Dang, I was really hoping she'd escape the bad eyeball curse, but alas....t'was not to be.

At least they have cute frames these days. LOL

So what will be different about your child/grandchild as they head off to school this year?

Kate has her new glasses and she's grown about 4 inches over the summer! YIKES........will anyone recognize her? :p

hmmm... can't wait till my babies come home with glasses. Both my family and DH's family wears glasses, and we're both glasses weares too, especially me.

Oh, well... at least there's plenty of options nowadays!:)

When my dd was younger I desperately hoped she'd inherit her daddy's perfect vision instead of my stinky, stinky vision. Alas, it wasn't to be...when Ash was about 10 years old she had to get glasses for the first time. Now Ashli wears contacts all the time and tons of people are surprised when they see her in glasses because they have forgotten that she has bad eyesight.
