Just read that the Great Movie Ride in MGM will be closed for refurb while I'm there!!!!! The dates are Feb 24th-April 13th.

Maybe they will finish it earlier than planned and you will still get to see it.. I would love for them to do a new live show.. maybe that is what they are doing.. Wouldn't that be cool?

I was bummed too when I read about it. We will be at MGM on 4/6. Leaving the World on 4/10. This is one of my all time favorite rides. At least it will be exciting to see what they have done when we return in November.

Honestly if I had to choose one ride to be out of comission, that would be it. I found it boring with poor effects. Does not stack up to much of the park. My least favorite ride I have been on at Disney.

But..... Since you like it so much: Sorry to hear you're gonna miss it.

I am so upset now that I've seen that. I will be there on the 27th and was wanting to take my friend on that ride. It has always been one of my favorites, and she has never seen it. I will miss it
