I wonder how many people can actually use these? Who is able to plan a trip on such short notice? I got a pin code for 40% off in April and the dates were for June.

People don't plan a trip on such short notice. People call and have the pin applied to their reservation that they've already made if the deal is better.

I called to have discounts changed 3 times within the month my trip was and I booked more than 6 months prior.

My family usually plans 6 months or so in advance but if the deals are good enough we will throw in another trip. I'm pretty sure these are the offers for the general public and not pin codes. Is there a short code or a long pin code?

Some people will cancel a reservation offsite of Disney offers them a good deal onsite. Some people add the discount to a Dessie they already have. And some people are able to plan trips with little notice. Linda

I received a pin in the mail today. My trip is booked for Oct. This was for trip staying certain nights at the Wilderness or Animal Kingdom for $199 a night. Times in July and August.

I'm staying at the Wilderness in Oct. So this pin does not help.

To answer the poster who asked about the pin code, I didnt even post that special here. The ones above are what I got in 1 email. The pin code came in the postal mail. I have been on Disneys mailing list for 7 years and finally got one. It was a MEGA deal, but I just couldnt use it.
