Has anyone ver stayed there? How far is it from downtown Disney? How are the conditions of the rooms? They offer continental breakfast and it is $75 per night. Any feedback would be great!

FYI,
I just had quite the experience with a representative at Buena Vista Suites. Called around 2:00 (MTN) on a Friday, just asking some simple questions about shuttles routes: where they go, if they go directly to DD, if they go to Universal, how late they come back, just wanting some specifics for my vacation, I would rather not be stranded in a place I've never been. Well, apparently I wasn't asking politely, the lady started getting an attitude instead of trying to understand what exactly I was asking. I asked her why she was getting so upset, which made her more upset. She said rudely, "Well you asked me the question three times!" I said, " Well, you know what I'd probably rather not stay here anyway, I wont ask you anymore questions." She said, "Good." and hung up the phone.
Anyway, maybe it was just bad chemistry. But I would reccommend not staying there, less chance of having a similar experince.
I hope that helps.

Soft0spell did you stay at Sierra Suites Lake Buena Vista or Buena Vista Suites, they are two different hotels.

I just stayed at Sierra Suites LBV and the stay was not bad but not great. When we first checked in they gave us a room key and sent us on our way. We went to the room and when we walked in the room stunk like cleaner. My step dad took off his shoes and immediately his socks were soaked. The entire rug was wet. I went back to the desk and explain the situation and was told "oh yeah, we just shampooed the rug in that room, I guess we should have taken it off line for maintanance." Ya think...so they gave us another room and we went to that one. It was much better. The rooms are not that big but they do have a full size fridge, two burner stove and a microwave. There is a small table and a sofa. Then two beds. The bathroom is tiny. The sink is outside the bathroom but there is no way to close it off from the room (we are sending a suggestion of a door or curtain to give more room).

The breakfast was disappointing. We were not expecting anything big but half the time they were out of food. They only had bananas the first day and then only apples after that. They ran out of muffins one day. Only thing they had in abundance was bagels and cereal.

They are at the end of Palm Parkway so it makes it about 2 - 3 miles from DD. There shuttle (which we didn't depend on) runs only three times in the morning and three times in the evening.

That is all I can think of for now. It was okay for the price we got (about the same as you). If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
