Siemens Base 21

What about Siemens customers that have had to endure some rough installations???? Can we get a peak, too? popcorn::

As an HP employee, I'm looking forward to visiting the HP VIP room at Mission:space on our upcoming trip. They are supposed to be stocked with food and drink, and they also grant VIP access to the ride.

Love the board name Brewmeister. Fellow hp'er here and I'll be going first time as well in less than two weeks.

As BirdsOfPreyDave mentioned, mere mortals like ourselves can visit some of these VIP areas by taking a backstage tour. We were able to experience the HP lounge in Mission:Space on the Undiscovered Future World tour that we took in December.

Hehe...yeah, I've had the pseudonym ever since I actually had the time to brew beer....now it just stands for all the coffee that I brew while camping. ;P

I was just reading up on the Mission:Space VIP room....apparently it's name is the "Red Planet Room", and it has a few games to play as well as refreshments. You'll have to let us all know what you think of it. Just be sure to get there early in the day. A co-worker said that he went at about 2:00pm, and all of the refreshments were already gone.

This is all great info! DH came home last night and his eyes lit up because he thought he had something to tell me that I didn't already know! Poor man! He knows I Dis but doesn't understand the implications! ;)

He had just heard about it yesterday! Serendipitous, I think!

I'm a Siemens employee and we were able to go into Base 21 when we visited in March. There was some sort of meeting the day we were in there so didn't get to go into the area Slugworth refers to with the view of Future World. We were in the main lobby and I was able to take some pictures of it. Nice area to sit and relax in the a/c and they provide soft drinks as well. There are a few interactive exhibits (the third picture - those panels change to exhibits about Siemens) which we thought were pretty cool. Best part was getting VIP access to ride Spaeship Earth. Here's a few pictures of the area we were in.
