Sideways photos

We have a thread going since March. Chill and Kindness Now when any of us post pictures, the pictures show up sideways, even if the picture we are posting is upright. Any idea why? And can this be corrected?

We have a thread going since March. Chill and Kindness Now when any of us post pictures, the pictures show up sideways, even if the picture we are posting is upright. Any idea why? And can this be corrected?

There was an update a while ago causing photos (particularly ones taken on phones) to post in landscape ratio, regardless of how it's in your files.

Easy fix - go to the photo in question, and make some small edit/correction to it (I usually remove one row of pixels). Then it will post in the ratio that's displayed in your files.
