I remember reading somewhere that there is a side entrance next to, between, or behind the Hard Rock Cafe??? I can't seem to find the thread I read....

Anyone know what the heck I am talking about? (cause sometimes even I am unsure  )

Directions would be great!! Is this an entrance I can use at anytime?? IE, kiosk for getting my prepaid tickets there?

Thanks!!

I think you're talking about this thread:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=612532

But in answer to your question, no there is no kiosk there for prepaid tickets. This is basically a re-entry gate. If you exit the park here (next to Nickelodeon), you can walk right into the HRC. Then when you're finished eating, it provides easy re-entry to USF.

That entrance is located behind Hard Rock Cafe, you enter the park at the Nickelodeon area. That entrance does not open until 11 a.m. (when Hard Rock Cafe opens). There is no kiosk there; you must have your tickets already.

I've used it quite often. If you already have your tickets you can go in there. I have an AP and use it there quite often even if I am not reentering the parks.

We went to eat dinner at HRC and did not have any hand stamp from being at IOA during the day (always walked out of the parks without getting a handstamp) so when we wanted to go into US through the HRC entrance we were told no, only for RE ENTRY and we had to go through the main entrance. This was our experience.

Thanks, Barbara. Since I have an AP, I don't get a handstamp, so I didn't know about that.

Often I am not re-entering but with an AP, it must not matter.

Thanks for the info!!

I bought the 5 days for 2 tickets (both parks). Once I have activated them will I be able to use the side entrance on following days? Or only after we have entered in the am to return after lunch etc? Thanks again!

I believe that this gate is for re-entry only. Again, like phamton, we have annual passes so it doesn't matter for us. But I think wih a five day pass you will need a handstamp from your visit to one of the parks earlier in the day along with your ticket to re-enter USF here.

OK, got it....THANKS!!
