I just need to vent for a while. I'm sick of it! Quit it! All this satanism hoobla! Stop! Dressing all in black, the bands that look like theyv'e come out of a car wreck . . . ya you know. Quit! Why? Am I missing something here? What good comes out of it? Tell me. Please! Tell me!

The point of this thread is that I want someone to explain to me why you would act all the "dark creepy I cut myself I have 47 piercings I love hot topic" way. Please. I just do not get it.



Now I'm gonna put a little disclaimer here before I get 10,000 angry PMs - I am not accusinhg anyone of being a satanist.

Hey now, I wear all black but I HATE that kind of music (except for the Japanese kind ) I'm more of a Big-band liker.

But, I know where you are coming from. I hate going places and seeing all of these little 12-year-olds dressing in these baggy pants and long chains and stuff. I don't know why, but those pants just irk me for some reason. XD But hey, it's really none of my concern what they wear.

I, myself, tend to be a dark person (Cynical, apathetic, pretty morbid LOL) but I, by no means, consider myself "goth". I just enjoy being very different, but now, it seems like everyone acts that way. T_T

But anyway, sorry if I've offended anyone. =(

So dressing in all black makes you dark and means you cut yourself? I must be way out of style then, seeing as how I don't cut myself and I have absolutely no piercings.

If its the bands that dress in all black, I think a much better choice of words would be "people that just fell down a chimney into a pile of soot.

Believe it or not, some of us are actually very interested / involved in the gore metal/industrial scene locally (wherever you might live). Personally, I am a horror movie fanatic and enjoy many fetish "acts".

And before you start talking about other people, take a look at yourself. I haven't seen anyone bashing you for enjoying Britney Spears or Good Charlotte.

I totally agree with you there. I don't mind seeing someone dressed in black. But once I see the huge ripped up pants, chains, peicings, mohawks, and the "not caring about anything" look. I'd rather people were caring and maybe didn't want to stay locked up from everybody feeling the world is against them. I wish I were born in the 1920's.

I don't claim to be a genius or know everything about the world. But I do happen to be a few years older and obviously at least a smidge smarter than you as I don't judge people just by the way they dress or act. Why not let the little teenies have their fun and dress how they want to? Are they hurting you? No. Until they're taking one of those chains that hang off their pants and start beating you in the head with it, I see no problem here.

As for a debate... lets debate. Is there any specific topic you're interested in?

i agree, unless they are actually physically hurting you why do you care. Really those people do care on how they look. If they are getting to you on how you look then really their job is done cuz they want you to look at them. Doesn't everybody tho?

but i also agree it can be annoying at times- yes i realize i am contracting myself but when i see like 50 of those people in the mall by the wall watching everybody it is creepy.. those are the ONLY time when i don't like those people.
