sick kids

anyone else having their kids getting sick ?? my daughter has been sick since thursday morning throwing up and now for the past two days both ends...i feel so bad for her...

My kids haven't caught anything but my DH had it a couple days ago. It was weird, coming out of the blue like that.

my dd just came in here, all glassy eyed and saying her head hurts... i gave her some tylenol and put her back to bed. She fell asleep last night at 7pm and it's 8am now....not looking good over here!

yea my daughters face looks awful...sucken in eyes...dark circles...i bet she caught it from the swimming pool...

All 3 of mine have coughs, fevers and runny noses right now! To make matters worse, DH is out of town. And 2 of them just came off a round of antibiotics for tonsilitis. My kids always seem to get sicker in the summertime than in the winter.
I figured it could be allergies until they got fevers...

yes, my 10mo has had a bad week. he broke his leg last sat... Friday night we were in the er for a 104.5 fever and he has an ear infection and sore throat.

get ready it lasts for days !!!! prepare to use the laundry alot..i have washed so many sheets and blankets and pillow cases...ughh...we were to go to my husbands company picnic today..but cant do that now..i told hubby to take our son and go but he says that is not fair....

My 5 year old has an ear infection. We went to the doctor on Friday and the doctor said it is a very impressive ear infection, Yuck!

one year my son has an ear infection it seemed all winter long...his poor ear drum busted and he was so happy after it did cause all the pressure was gone....

ME! It has been a NIGHTMARE, let me tell you.

We were on vacation from June 23- July 4th.

DH gets sunburned at SeaWorld on the 26th, and then comes down with a cold sore on his mouth (he gets them rarely).

On July 3rd DS#2 comes down with a fever and doesn't feel well for 2-3 days. He breaks out in his first cold sore a day or two later. I get sick with some sort of flu for 2-3 days after we get home- fever, chills, lethargy, achiness. Then my DD gets a fever for several days and her whole entire mouth breaks out in cold sores. It was HIDEOUS. She didn't feel well for a week. Then, yep, DS#1 starts getting a fever, but he has strep. Gets on antibiotics, feels better for about 6-7 days, then the strep comes BACK AND HE breaks out in the cold sores all over his mouth! It was seriously a nightmare of epic proportions.

OH, and let me not forget that last Monday or Tuesday I came down with strep and had to get antibiotics.

Just now, what is today, the 22nd? 23rd? are all my children back to normal. Ds#1 can finally start eating normal foods again, his mouth doesn't hurt. So it's been almost 3 straight weeks of either myself or my children being sick. Not to mention DH not feeling well the week before with his cold sore. Ugh.

It's been blowing through our house this weekend. My twins had it on Friday. One just had a diarrhea diaper and threw up a couple of times. The other, poor thing, had it AWFUL. She threw up every 5 minutes for over 2 hours. She had a yucky diaper the next day and then she was fine. Then I had it yesterday, but I ran a fever with it too so I was totally wiped out. Hopefully it is GONE GONE GONE!

My DD is finally feeling better after coming down with strep last weekend. It was really bad and for days after being on the antibiotic she complained her throat hurt and only wanted soup, jello and ice pops. According to some moms at the playground it's going around our area.

Hope everyone's kids are feeling better soon. It's rough when they're sick.

My son just got done with the stomach flu. It was hell. I posted here about it and it lasted nearly 24 hours exactly with throwing up every hour or half hour. My 4 year old typically has a big toddler belly and his tummy was all sunken in and his ribs were sticking out. He didn't have enough energy to make it to the potty so I kept pull-ups on him and at least I knew he was going potty and not getting horribly dehydrated that way.

It was a drag to say the least. I talked to a friend in Indy and she said it is going around there and my aunt and cousins son had it here. There is some nasty summer thing going around.

No kids at home. But I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago. It just hit with no warning on a Thursday night. I finally started feeling better Sunday night. Thankfully DH did not catch it.

Ohhh, I have totally been there. Sometimes it seems like months and months where at least someone in the house is sick and that in turn leads to someone else getting it.

I just want you to know that I'm aware of how you feel and I hope everyone's kids get better asap!! This too shall pass!!!

Just be sure that it is not something more... friends DS-6 felt tired and icky, woke up in the am and he looked like he had a stroke, one side droopy. it was LYME and he is in seroius condition in the hosp.

check for ticks- please check for ticks DAILY. They never saw on one him, no bullseye or anything..

good lord that is scarey...she isnt droopy or anything..she is just sicky...her eyes have big black rings around them...she has lost like 8 pounds..i finally got some chicken broth in her belly..the weird thing is that this started after she got two nasty mosquito bites..i was thinking oh my god she got west nile !!! if she isnt feeling alot better by tomorrow..we are going to the doc..

Yep...we have it at our house too! It doesn't seem to be as bad as your alls. I just hope I don't get it, but it is likely because we shared a couple of drinks during the day and that night it hit. Like all yours it came on really quick also!
