Shuttles to parks from Sheraton Vistana

We'll be staying at Sheraton Vistana Resort next week and wondering if they have a shuttle to Disney and Universal? TIA

We were there in May and I'm fairly certain they have a shuttle to Disney. However, it's my opinion that you really need a rental car when you are staying at the Vistana. Everything is close but not close enough without a car.

Depending on which section you are staying in, you could have a 10-15 minute walk just to the lobby to catch the shuttle. I believe you have to pay for it as well.

Call the Vistana and ask for specifics (how often shuttles run etc). Then you'll know ahead of time.

Thanks for your reply...we are driving down and will have a car but DH and myself may go to Disney and DS & friend (age 17) will be going to Universal. Trying to figure something out for them so they won't have to wait for us to pick them up.

Here's the Vistana's number. Give them a call in the morning 407-239-3100 (I keep my exchange confirmation in my desk drawer).

Don't forget to use diamond check in if you're arriving during their normal business hours. It certainly speeds check in time.

Thanks for the number...I'll call tomorrow. What is the diamond lane? This will be our first stay here (a co-worker gave us her timeshare) We are staying in the Palms section.

As for the shuttles Tink :
if you are a renter, you get the shuttle for free.
Vistana shuttles (time and destinations) are limited. They do not go to Universal or Sea World---only disney parks on a rotating basis. This was the shuttle schedule the last I checked ---about 7 months ago, so they could have changed a bit :
The shuttle service is as follows :
7:55 am
9 am
11 am
12 noon

then pick up later in day :
4:30 pm
6 pm
8 pm
9 pm
and at park closing

For the morning rotation (I didn't get the evening rotation):
7:55 am MK and AK
9:00 am MK and MGM
11;00 am MK and EPCOT
12:00 pm ALL parks

I will also add.......from the Palms section, you'll have a good walk to where the shuttle picks up and drops off near the front of the resort.


The Diamond Lane is an online form mostly for requests. You won't be able to request a newer section since you are using your friend's timeshare. But you could use the form to request something such as 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor villa. The link to the Diamond Lane is :

Thanks for the replies...I called today to see about options for Universal. I was told we could catch the i trolley from the outlet mall. This is all new to me as we usually stay on property at Disney & use their buses.
