We are staying at WBC next May, first time in Orlando,. We want to visit both Universal parks, Seaworld and Discovery Cove while we're there. My question is what is the cheapest way of getting there. We are not hiring a car. I know BC has shuttles at about 11$ person to seaworld but there are 3 of us. Will it be cheaper to get a taxi or a mears shuttle, or am even considering 2 nights in a hotel nearer universal, so only then have 1 return trip.
Also same question for getting from the airport to BC.
Any help gratefully received:worship::confused3

I think my wife and I paid $12 each for a shuttle to seaworld,that includes return.I think it was MAINGATE that was the company.They have shuttles to just about anywhere and not that expensive imo.I'm not sure what the taxi rates are in Florida,so I can't say if it's cheaper or not.
I think a shuttle from the airport to WBC with Mears ,return, was $34 per person.
IMO,for the amount of time you're there and planning to do Universal and seaworld,maybe you should try staying closer to Universal if you can find a nice hotel at a decent price.I know Mousesavers usually has great specials at places to stay like Caribe royal.One shuttle driver,a couple of years ago said in his opinion,Caribe was the best location in Orlando because it was central between Disney and Universal.

When you check in,they will give you information sheets with that info.
if you want the airport shuttle,Mears has a website with prices and services.There's other services as well from other companies that will get you there.Google what you're looking for or try a search on the "transportation" thread

How much is the shuttle from WBC to Universal? Can you take it over there one day and then take it back the next day (after spending the night over at Universal)? or do you have to use the shuttle the same day for the round trip? Also does it leave early enough that you would have time to walk over to RPR, check in, get the front of the line pass, and still make it over to IoA for early entry?

I didn't use the shuttle to Universal,but I think it was $18 pp,with Maingate.You call them and set up your pick up.

Just a thought. You can rent a full sized car using Priceline and choosing EZ car rental for about $17 a day plus tax. Car rental would be the absolute cheapest way to get yourself around. If you have a GPS unit just put in the addresses and drive yourself around. That is what we would do. Next time we are driving so we have our own car.

But unless none of you have driver's licenses renting a car is always the cheapest option. Especially with 3 ppl. Driving around to Disney and Universal and the other parks is not difficult.
