Hello everyone :)

I am sure this has been addressed before and I have gone through the Limo vs shuttle post but it is still a big vague.

Mousesavers.com also said that wise travellers with more then 3 use a limo as it is cheaper but the sites/companies they suggest come out to something like $100 each way.

Here is my question...with 3 adults and 2 children (4 and 12) going from LAX (Los Angeles Airport) to Hojo (Howard Johnson Anaheim)...shuttle is (aprox.) $40 pp return...except DD is free because she is under 11 years old (deal on right now with Karmel)...is there a good limo company that would be equal or around the same price for a special ride to/from Hojo?:confused3

I am using American Limo and it is $85 each way plus tip from SNA to GC. I'm not sure what airport you are coming from or where the Hojo is exactly...We've used them before and they were great.

We have used a limo service in 2010 from LAX to Disneyland Hotel for 4 adults and 4 kids. The price was around $100 per way, which was way cheaper than the shuttle or taxi that we priced out at the time. The driver was GREAT, brought his personal car seats for us to use for our children and gave us a "tour" of the Disney area and had alcohol for us exhausted parents (we took a 34 hour Amtrack ride from WA state) and juice for the kids all included in the original price! =) I will have to dig thru some info to see if I can find out which service it was......

If I am doing my math correctly the shuttle would cost you $160. I used American Limo last trip and from LAX to Anaheim it was $99 each way.

For a difference of only $38 I would probably go ahead and book the Limo. I have used the shuttles before and they are not bad but the limo was much better.

That would be great if you could find it:love:

We have used both shuttles (Blue and Karmel) on 2 previous trips and they were both fine. We didn't have more then 2 minutes wait once we called them to say we arrived. It would be nice though to have our 2 kids ride in a limo though :dance3: I bet they would love it!

But if it is too much difference we would just stick with Karmel :confused3

We just came back from DL.

We used the limo service both ways, it costed us around $100 each way.

We would have taken the express, but we arrived too early to use the bus so the limo was our best option.

The free drinks were nice and we talked our driver into taking us to side trips (market, In N Out burger, etc...)

Another happy American Limo customer. I have 7 in my family, so it just makes financial sense. I also request valet on arrival which means the driver is waiting at baggage claim for us. I find it easier than waiting on the curb at LAX. The $15 charge is well worth the expense imho.

I also like the convenience of being the only passengers and not having to make stops along the way. My husband and I took the Disneyland Shuttle last April to GCH. The driver asked us to get out at the crosswalk. He didn't even drive us to the door. I had to hop over bushes with my bags to make it to the sidewalk. For the $30 I saved I would have received much better service.

My kids love the limo experience and it adds so more fun to our trip. The drinks come in handy after our flights too. I usually grab a couple of waters for the evening since our flights bring us to the hotel after midnight when everything is closed.
