Shuttle service @ Double Tree Hotel-- how is it?

We'll be staying at the Double Tree Hotel from July 26-Aug.1 and won't have a rental car. We're wondering if the hotel's shuttle service goes to Seaworld, Mall at Millenia, etc. and is reliable, or if we will need to plan on calling a cab instead. Any input would be great! TIA

I saw one review on Trip Advisor that said that the shuttle was rarely on time and was costly. Has anyone else out there used the Double Tree shuttle? I could sure use some input before our trip. Thanks!

Well, we're staying at the Double Tree at the "entrance" of Universal and they apparenlty do have free shuttle services to Sea World, Wet & Wild and Universal Studios. Other than that, they don't have much. All other shuttle services have to be paid for by you.

Thanks for your reply. DoubleTree did send me a schedule, but like you said, the shuttle service is rather limited. Looks like I'll be needing a cab for Sea World, unless someone else has a different idea.

Yeah, they actually contract through a taxi service to do shuttling services for them. We've been going to Disney World for $16 per person, round trip. It's not really expensive, but it does add up.
