Hello,
I am looking for shuttle recommendations that will pick us up at the Best Western Park Place Inn & Suites and will take us to LAX. Any suggestions for good and reliable companies? We will be traveling with a 5 year old and we have a car seat.

Our flight is at 11:30am on a Wednesday so we will be heading to LAX during rush hour. What time should we plan on having the shuttle pick us up at so that we can get to the airport in time to check-in, get through security and get to the gate in time for our flight?

Thank you in advance!!

Yes -- it's been a couple of years but we have. They are frequently mentioned here as a great choice for a shuttle from LAX, which is why we tried them.

Thank you! Have you used Karmel Shuttle before?

We used Karmel for our trip a few weeks ago and they were the best part of our travel plans. If you included your cell phone number they will text you to confirm your travel arrangements and they will text you a link shortly after you arrive at the airport with a link to click on once you have your luggage. They'll tell you where to stand and the number of the van. our van was there within 10 minutes of me calling them. Don't worry if your flight into LAX is late because they monitor that. I know because our flight was 3 hours late. If you miss your connecting flight then you need to call them with your new flight information.

On your way back to the hotel, your driver will meet you just outside the lobby of your hotel. When booking the site will suggest a pick up time based on your flight departure time. You do have the ability to request an earlier pick up time. Our driver on the way to the airport was great. Because he knew his way around the airport he saved us from sitting in traffic after an accident in the tunnel near LAX.

Our flight left on a Friday at 11:30 so we arranged for a 7:20 pick up and we had more than enough time to get to the airport, check-in and get through security. As you will have a maximum of two other stops at DL-area hotels. For us it was 1 stop from the airport and to the airport it was one other group at the same hotel as us.

I highly suggest supershuttle. I used Karmel & didn't have a good experience with the driver. He was texting & driving which i didn't like. I've used Supershuttle many times. If you have AAA I believe they give a discount as well.

We have used Super Shuttle many, many, many times but I am not a fan. We live locally and are lumped both to and from LAX on the Disneyland express (always first picked up and last dropped off - ugh). 3-4 stops on average, mostly hotels. To the airport is better but usually very aggressive drivers who aren't the safest (speeding, cutting people off, and at the airport lurking for one last fare). I'd rather Uber/Lyft or try a different shufttle company for my future flights. My flights tend to be red eyes which is why I usually need a shuttle. I will probably try Karmel next time.

Thank you so much for your detailed review of your experience using Karmel shuttle. I really do appreciate the time you took to write this review. I just booked Karmel Shuttle to LAX from our Anaheim hotel and I have arranged for them to pick us up at 7:35am so that we will have time to get to the airport, check-in and get through security. Thank you again!
