We just can't decide if we should take a shuttle from the airport or a taxi. What is really the cost difference/time? We arrive in LAX on Friday, Nov 10th at 8:30am. I have not made any shuttle reservations because we were afraid of the time it will take with a shuttle from LAX to our hotel (Best Western Park Place Inn). It's just 3 of us - me, husband, and 4 year old son.

i suggested a shuttle mainly because you just might get lucky and find another family also going to Disneyland. so it be split between two families instead of one...

There is a bus i think, might be cheaper that way i think...

The shuttle, in our case we used Supershuttle is per person. It was cheaper for us to book over the internet, $15/per person. The price schedule on the van had something like $35 for first person and $12 for each additional person. We were living right, because as we exited the terminal, there was a Disneyland Express van, (Supershuttle of course), that took all passengers to the area around DL. Not everyone was headed to DL, but it was pretty direct.

There is a bus that goes to the Disney area and makes stops at various hotels in the DL area, but the name escapes me...a Google will probably find it. I imagine a cab would be much more expensive.

Oh, Lord -- unless you are made of money, you definitely want to take the Super Shuttle! You don't even want to know what your taxi fare would be. As a matter of fact, you could probably stay another day in the park for the price! The highways in LA are terrible and it's not just the mileage you will be paying for, but the wait time in traffic. Don't go there. Book your shuttle now.

I think Disneyland has a buses of itself, I live in El Segundo (Where LAX is located) and I see Disney buses driving to and from Disneyland all day (even followed one one day all the way to Disneyland). Not sure if that's the shuttle your talking about but yeah, a taxi is WAY to expensive.

Mousesavers talks about the Disneyland Resort Express bus and also has a link to a $3 off per person coupon.

We went with PrimeTime Shuttle, it was $15 a person. There is also the Disneyland Express bus which you can take which costs $19 per person...
