We're looking at staying in an off property hotel for our next trip, and I'm trying to decide which is better: paying the $4 per day pp (4 ppl = $16 a day) for ART, or just parking in the lot for $15 per day. I know that sometimes the shuttles can take a long time if you miss the pick up and/or they make a bunch of stops. We're spoiled as we usually stay at the DLH or GC, so I'm used to just walking back to the room. I like the idea of having my car there in case someone needs to go back to the room, but don't know if it saves that much time as you still have to take the tram and drive back. Opinions? :confused3

Well, how offsite are you staying? There are some hotels offsite that are a closer walk than from Disneyland Hotel to the front gates, so it's an important thing to think about, when talking about driving vs shuttle. Can't help but wonder if foot-power will work better! :)

We're looking at either Homewood, Doubletree or Peacock Suites. I have stayed at the Doubletree and Peacock before, and they are a little too far to walk back and forth.

Ive used the ART before and it was usually about a 30 min wait and I have parked and waited while the flow of cars took for ever to get into the parking garage. I would just park unless you plan to go back and forth all day... I dont know if you have to pay for parking again or not...:confused3
