Shuttle launch from CR?

I'm a little sad to be asking this, b/c I KNOW Bob would know the answer. But....

Does anyone on the roundtable know if you can see a shuttle launch from the observation deck at CR? The next launch is Saturday at 5:02 PM. We have a 6 PM ADR at the Concourse and are wondering if we can see it from somewhere there.

It all depends on the weather and visibility. Usually, you can see the launch from virtually anywhere in central florida. However, if the cloud ceiling is low, or if it's particularly overcast that would have an effect on it.

If its good, you can see take offs from all over Disney property. Last time i went, we saw one take off from over the top of space mountain! That was cool!

Thanks Pete! I am so excited to see the launch (hopefully). We'll be getting there around noon and I hope to be at Epcot at launch time.
