What would you recommend for getting from LAX to Disneyland? I know about the grayline disney express and super shuttle. Is one better than another? We are getting in at 10:57 am on a Sunday so would one get us to Anaheim faster than another? Does the Disney express bus go to all of the area hotels or just the disneyland hotels?

Thanks
Ashley

Hi Ashley,

We are flying over (international) to the US in a couple of weeks. :woohoo:

The first time we flew in we used Super Shuttle, and vowed never to use them again. (Which we haven't). I found with Super Shuttle that it can't leave the airport until the van is completly full, so that means driving around in circles till it is full. And you can imagine 9 or so people cramed into the back of this shuttle. I think in total we spent about 2 hours (there abouts) getting to Anaheim.

We are using Greyhound this time. Reports i have heard that they are ok. What I think is good, is that the bus runs regularly (every half hour i think) and takes you straight to Anaheim. We are not staying onsite. We are staying at one of the hotels along the blvd, and it will be dropping us off at our hotel.

Hope this is some help to you. :)

Ashley, if it's 4 or more I would consider super shuttle, due to the price and the fact that you should be able to take a 'private' van service for a similar price to that of individual pricing on a bus, etc.. There are coupons on this website (link listed below) to save some money per person @ Supershuttle, but if you do take the Disney Express there are also valuable coupons on the same website for that here: http://www.anaheimoc.org/Articles/Archive/Webpage10153.asp

Both times we took Super Shuttle, I found this to be true. The second time they even made my 2 yr. old sit on my lap so they could squeeze more people in. It was very uncomfortable, hot and the driver drove like a maniac.
If you go to the Disney Express Bus website, you can pay for a return ticket in advance and this will save you a couple dollars each. They also had a family rate which seemed like an even better deal.

We LOVE Zippy Shuttle. I don't want to use a service where I have to stop at other terminals or hotels and share a van or bus. Big waste of time, especially with kids on board. We used Zippy 2 weeks ago and they were at the airport when we arrived and took us straight to GCH. Gratuity is included. We paid $146 for three passengers, round trip. Totally worth it.
