Does anyone know if there is a shuttle from John Wayne Airport to DLR, and what times it comes around and how long it takes to get there and when it comes to take you back? I'm arriving on Nov. 30th and staying till Dec. 4th. Thanks.

Here is a thread I posted on this a few days ago.

I ended up calling Supershuttle the same day I arrived and booked it to/from with no problem.

I think it was $70-ish for the 4 of us for arriving and return.
Very easy to do/about a 15 minute drive.

They'll tell you what time they'll pick you up when you make your reservation.

Make sure you find the correct transfer Company as they all have people gather at same area. My first time taking one of the smaller shuttles I ended up taking a very old unsafe transfer--No seat belts that worked--. Cross reference the name and ask direct if this is such and such shuttle. They all look near the same. Make your return reservation at same time you reserve transfer to DL. Good times go fast and you do not want to have to get shuttle 3-5 hours early. Have a fun time.

I agree with supershuttle- when we don't drive or rent a car we always go with their service, it's quite economical as well, I think it's $10 each way per passenger for the shared ride van service.

Why don't you use the OFFICAL shuttle service...I use them all the time...you get the shuttle at SNA/John Wayne, head to the DL Hotel and then they transfer you to your hotel of choice...I use them all the time...I'll be using them again this Thanksgiving...if you look at the attached link you can buy your tixs on-line and save a couple of bucks....and they also have a 'family pack' rate...$80 for a family of up to 5 people for round-trip service...I highly recommend them...

We also use Supershuttle when we drive and don't do a rental car. You can get a discount when you book online. I just quoted our next trip (still not sure if we are driving of flying) and it was $36 RT for the two of us.

Last time, our van was full in no time, the drive wasn't nearly as scary as the taxi service we'd taken the trip before and we were one of the first stops. They were also right on time picking us up for our return flight.

I've used Super Shuttle and I would highly recommend it. You can actually Google promo codes for them and get discounts. My last trip, I was able to book tickets for $7 each way :thumbsup2

We're using super shuttle for our trip tomorrow. We used this discount code UYR59 and booked each persons ticket seperate(it's $6 off your total roundtrip order, so if you book 3 people at once, it's only $6 off, vs booking each person seperate, each person gets the $6 off) and we got it for $7/each way or $42 total roundtrip for the 3 of us.

Something for parents to keep in mind with Super Shuttle -- you have to bring a carseat with you since they don't supply one. We're going to take the Disneyland Express. It costs about $20 more round trip for our family of 4, but it's worth it not to have to lug two carseats along. Technically, I suppose we only need one for our 3 year old, but I still feel safer with them on a bus than a Super Shuttle van. Sometimes the Super Shuttle drivers seem just fine and other times I'm white knuckled through the entire trip.
