Shuttle Costs

Hi

After reading all the various threads about transport from CDG to the hotels I think we'll go with the shuttle

how much does this cost for adults and do children under 5 go free????

I mean the VEA - i.e. the one that runs through out the day to all the hotels.

It 16euro for adult one way and 13 euros for a child one way. Under 3s go free.

Oh - I didn't think it would be that much. Its only about 25 euros more for a taxi (2 ad, 1 ch & 1 under 3) - about £18!

I'll wait until my tickets arrive as the company said something about transfers from the Airport but i'm not 100% sure. I'll see if there's a voucher or something if not I might go with the taxi - for the ease of travelling with 2 toddlers.

How do you pre book a taxi?? Is this the RS link?

Did you book with Disney? If so than transfers for the VEA are included. also most Tour Operators such as Thomas Cook signature and Thomson also include the VEA transfers when you book the flight packages.

hmm i didn't know that the VEA was included in packages. I booked the hotel and ticket package but not the flights. Still think the difference in price was greater than cost of VEA tho as we're flying easyjet. Something to research for any other trips i guess.

Hi (A bit off topic) this is worth noteing for larger familys who would find a taxi cheaper than the VEA

When you phone Disney for a flight package they usually automatically add the transfers in the cost however if you would rather use a taxi than ask for the rep not to include the transfers and they will take off the cost of the transfers.

when I booked for our July trip, we spoke to an american call centre who told us that we did not have to include the transfers.

I booked through Phone & Fly who did the flights with BMI and the hotel through Disney direct.

If the VEA is included do you get a voucher?

I have a letter from Disney confirming the room but as yet no flguth tickets. Does the VEA stuff come with the flight tickets???

Hi, I have a question which is not really relevant to this topic but hope some of you might still be able to answer it. How much will it cost to take a taxi from CDG airport to disneyland?

I think taxi fares can vary. Several DISers have used a private shuttle firm RS Transport.

Hi,

We used RS Transport in October for our large group of 16, from CDG to Newport Bay Club. The cost for 2 x 8 seater mini buses was 400 euros return, which worked out cheaper than if we had used the VEA. The drivers were great getting us through CDG when we arrived, wish we'd had them to find our gate on our return leg!!
