Are they a nightmare???? :confused3 im getting a bit worried as we have booked to stay off site at the ''Dream Castle Hotel'' on Monday 10th November - Friday 14th Noveber 2008
We will have a pushchair with us when we travel each day to the park...
Im just expecting a Nightmare!!!!! :scared1:
Crowded, waiting for ages etc......

Not sure if DLP is going to absolutely crowded during this time??? But then again it is xmas season, but we are going on weekdays (not weekend) also theres no public holiday or school holiday at this time....

Can someone tell me what to expect??? Please ;)

Calm yourself. Beginning of November (weekdays) will be a quite time.
You won’t have no problems at all.
It could be a little bit crowded every morning around park opening and in the evening after the parks have closed. I would advise you to take a bus in the morning at least 45 minutes before the park opens and in the evening you can have a longer look into the stores at Mainstreet or you can explore Disney Village. And after some time the crowds will not be that horrible anymore at the bus station. (Especially not during this time in November)
I have stayed in all 4 hotel there and we never had problems with the shuttle bus. :)

The busses aren't too bad. You will work out over the days where to stand so that the bus stops with the middle doors near you.

Busses run every 10 mins or so. Only downside when staying at the Dream Castle is that the bus has already picked up, I think, at the Explorers so you will not be the first hotel on.

However, having a pushchair does mean you get quite a bit of help from other passengers, and people do move for you (in my experience). You can also get the pushchair on without taking the child out too.

Dreamcastle is the last served hotel. They start with Explorers, followed by Kyriad then Holiday Inn and the last one is Dream Castle.

Thank you both very much ;) :goodvibes :goodvibes

Pheeeeeeew! I was imagining a complete nightmare! So panic over :lmao: :lmao:

We stayed at the Explorers in July of 2005, we found the buses were very crowded at the end of the day (but it was high season) so instead we used to wait and get on the Santa Fe shuttle bus and then walk the rest of the way. It is a very pleasant walk, but my 'kids' were alot older.
