interested in learning more about shutters formal portrait studio on board the Wonder.

Just booked a sitting for my upcoming Alaska cruise. Are the cost of these photos extra on top of the regular photo package? Anyone did it? Did you like it? Was it worth it?

The studio session itself will be free. The photos from that session are not included in the photo package. However, there will be opportunities during the cruise for your family to get photos in the public areas in front a variety of backdrops, and these are included.

Be prepared to stand in line! I wasn't prepared for how long the lines were.

I don't know how many they book, but the information I received from onshore concierge was that more bookings and times would be available at boarding (everything was already full for our cruise a month or so in advance). It seems like one of those situations where they allow some reservations in advance but hold others back.

The prices are crazy. I recently sailed on the Wonder and someone in our fb group had a private portrait session done. These were the prices she posted, all for digital files on USB drive: 5 photos for $550, 12 photos for $900, 100 photos for $2500. She also mentioned that only black & white was available and that color was not an option.
