Has anyone been to Shutters at the Caribbean Beach Resort before? if so, would you recommend it? How about what entrees you've had...?

thanks in advance!

I went there a few years ago and had the Caribbean rub chicken which was nice. The Pinnaple Rum Cake was to die for.

We were there this past August. My son had food allergies and was treated like a King! He hugged the chef before we left! I thought our meal at this restaurant was one of our better meals. We were on the meal plan and we had coconut shrimp for an appetizer, prime rib with the shutters potatoes and I had NY style cheesecake for dessert. Service was great and the food was so good. I ate way too much that day!

How was the prime rib & what kind of potatoes are shutters potatoes?? That sounds like something my dbf would like :)

We ate there once and I had the jerk chicken which was nothing special. This wasn't one of my favorite restaurants, but it wasn't terrible either.

The shutters potatoes were like a scalloped potato. The prime rib was excellent on our visit. It was huge and I forced myself to eat almost all of it.

Shutters is a hidden gem! We loved everything we had there - coconut shrimp, prime rib, can't remember what else but the cocktails are awesome too!!!!

This is one of my choices for our trip next year. I'm a picky eater and hand an extra TS credit that I couldn't decide on, so I figured since we'll be in Epcot that day, we could swing over, have a meal there, walk around the resort, and then head back to Epcot. I worked there back in 01 and I also needed an excuse to head over there too see again.

Our meal wasnt bad, but I really miss Captain's Tavern. The Jerk Chicken was so much better then...

We ate there a few times this past August. Everything was very good.

Coconut shrimp, ceasar salad, onion rings, prime rib, strip steak, pasta with chicken/shrimp, mushrooms, artichokes, olives, NY cheesecake, chocolate cake

And for the kids

Chicken soup, salad, mac & cheese, grilled chicken, make your own sundae.

We ate at Shutter's twice this past summer and both times it was out-of-this-world crazy good!

The prime rib and Shutter's potatoes were fantastic! The steaks were cooked exactly as we asked and the potatoes were melt-in-your-mouth yummy!!

My kids, who are both very picky, also loved Shutter's! The kid's menu is typical, but just what they like!
