Ok, the debate continues. Shula's is running special for 2. $89.00 for steak and lobster with salad and 2 sides. We've been to both. We have not been to the Yachtsman in a while so we thought we'd try it this trip. Well, now this special is making me think twice. Opinions? Thanks.

My opinion is that there are over a dozen Shula restaurants in the United States and only one Yatchsman Steakhouse. If you ONLY go to Disney World for vacation, this argument isn't valid, but if you go to New York or Philly or other major metro areas, you can find a Shula's there. But not Yatchsman.

If you WANT the steak and lobster, though, by all means, go to Shula's. If you are thinking about it just because of the price point, maybe you should go somewhere other than EITHER of these two.

I'm doing the Shula's special next month. I'd rather do that and get a terrific deal in the bargain.

If you want the lobster stick with Shula's...there is no lobster other than in bisque and salad appetizers at Yachtsman.

I could care less how many Shula's there are around the world - they are all still better than the Yacthsman. Not that the Yachtsman is bad - not at all - but being the only one does not make it a better option against a higher quality product. We've had better steak at Jiko than the Yachtsman.

shulas hands down alot of people on this site when talking about steaks says that le cellieur, yachtsman, and cali grill are best steaks, these are good steaks, about on the level of outback staekhouse they dont even come close to shulas, ruth chris, charleys, or del frisco

We love YS, but I'd go for the Shula's special in a heartbeat. I love lobster, DW loves beef, we'd be making a quick switcheroo at the table. How long does the special last? :earsboy:

Thank you so much for your input. It's a tough call. It looks like Shulas is the winner. The special runs through July 15. We are staying at BCV so maybe we'll stop for a drink on the way. We'll see.

I agree completely with this as the Yachtsman does not deliver on it highend steakhouse theme. Shula's number one and the filet at Jiko number two.
