Shula's...I have questions.

Looking for a night out for DH and I while we're at the Boardwalk.

I've seen their menu on allears and the prices look steep but is it true that you can get 2 hours of free childcare that includes dinner for the kids? Does anyone have any first hand experience with the childcare? Is it 1 kids per adult (we have 3 boys)? What's the age minimum on the kids? What's the facility like? What about the care givers, what are they like?

I've looked at their site and there is no information whatsoever about the childcare.

Fianally, how was your meal?

I had a similar question that I couldn't get answers to. I googled "wdwinfo shula's" and found some posts. I decided not to take DH, who is a big Dolphins and Shula fan, after reading them. I know there is a search on here but it takes too long for me.

1) Child Care
. . . there is complimentary childcare
. . . I thought it was 2-hrs of child care, regardless of number of kids
. . . but, the care facility has to have room, so ressies are imperative
2) Facility
. . . quite elegant
. . . wood every where
. . . real linen table clothes
. . . at least two people dedicated to the table (a captain and a server)
3) Food
. . . very well prepared
. . . large portions
. . . VERY PRICEY (our table of four was $530, including tip)

NOTE: One of the few places left to get Steak Diane (they call it Steak Mary Anne, for his wife)

I just booked Shula's for our trip this week. Camp Dolphin does provide 2 hours of free child care for each entee ordered. If you have more kids than entees ordered you will have to pay for those children. I hope that makes sense.

We were going to go to the Yachtsman and put the kids in the Neverland Club. Prices are similar for the Yachtsman Steakhouse and Shula's, but the free childcare made us decide on Shula's. I think of it as a $40 discount on our meal.
