Our family has visited Narcoossee's several times. It is always a great meal, something we really enjoy. I have read Shula's is a top-notch restaurant. How does it compare?
We have not dined at Narcoossee's but I can tell you that Shula's is a top notch restaurant and they serve one of the best steaks I've ever had and the best steak on Disney property. The service here is also top-notch and their prices are pretty much on par with any nice steakhouse. I do recommend the Porterhouse if you decide to go. The chocolate souffle for dessert is also a must have.
We have dined at both. Shula's was excellent for steak with perfect service. We also really love Narcoossee's for steak and lobster. I don't think you can go wrong with either. Just so you know, though, Shula's does not participate in the Dining Plan and definitely had an adult feel (not that kids wouldn't be welcome). It seemed like the people at Shula's might not have been park-goers - perhaps more conventioneers.
We have also tried both and from a carnivore's view I love Shula's. Have to pay OOP for everything (not on the plan) but its nice to have a first rate meal in an adult restaurant.
Our Shula's experience was top notch. OMG the mac and cheese. Haven't dined at Narcoossee, we were staying at BW so the ease of getting to Shula's was a positive. If we were staying along the monorail I would not have picked Shula's (or at least would have used Uber/Lyft). Used TiW for a discount.
An odd one for you.... In our experience, Shula's also has the best LOBSTER on site. None of this Cousin-of-a-Crayfish mini lobster stuff - really GOOD whole Lobster, or tails.
Since the demise of Fulton's? Dear wife and I hit Shula's twice per trip. One night is STEAK night, one is LOBSTER night .
