We went to Shula's and had one of the best dinners, if not the best. We frequent steakhouses in NYC often. Been to some of the best ones and aside from Peter Luger's, Shula's comes close to it. I had the filet mignon maryann, dh had the cowboy steak and dd had the regular filet mignon. They were so tender and cooked to perfection. Service was wonderful and the place is very nice looking. They seated us in the side dining room. We had cesear salad, the steaks, a side of the hash browns, the best chocolate martini I ever had, dh had a few glen livit's 18 and dd had a coke. For dessert we had the chocolate souffle, which was out of this world. Bill came to 254 plus tip. Prices compared to NYC, and the whole night was well worth it. If your looking for a great steak, you must go there. It was great....Ask to be seated in the side dining room. It was small, (6 tables), dark and cozy and had a nice atmosphere...

We don't see many reviews of Shula's here on the boards, so I was very pleased to read yours. :) DH and 2 teenage DS's are always on the lookout for great steak, so it sounds like we need to plan a visit to Shula's next time we're at WDW.

Enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for posting.

Thanks for the review. I agree the steaks are the best on WDW property. And the rest of the food is great too, including the lobster. Our only complaint has been that whenever we've gone and wherever we've been seated, the place has been packed with loud, hard-drinking conventioneers, which does not make for a quiet, romantic dinner. I would guess that Christmas-time is a much better time to be there, as there would be few, if any, conventions going on at that time.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Just answering to say that I agree 100%! Shula's has the best steaks DH and I have ever had and recommend it wholeheartedly! :cool1:

I have a couple of questions..... can you go in and order just appetizers and desserts? And, the big one.... is there alot of Miami Dolphin memorlbilia (sp) displayed? DH and I are huge Dolphin fans, and that would be our main reason for going!!! Thanks! :sunny:

I agree. We went on our 10th anniversary and they put us in that side room. It may have helped that we had early ADRs (maybe 5:30ish) but it was very quiet, secluded and (we thought) romantic. Of course, on your 10th anniversary and without the kids, we'd have thought Pizza Hut was romantic that night! :love2:
Anyway, we have eaten at many of the "top 10" steakhouses in the country and it compared favorably with all of them (Ruth's Chris, Del Frisco, etc.)
Yes, there are lots of Dolphin pictures, etc. everywhere. The menu even comes on an autographed football if you're interested (only $250 I think). :earseek:
