We will be at WDW on Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. Do you think WDW does anything on Tuesday anywhere? We are used to going to church for pancakes and then making MardiGras masks.

I don't know what "Shrove Tuesday" is? Disney doesn't really offer religious services on the property anymore, but they can provide you with directions to the nearest Churches, Synagogues (sorry about spelling), Mosques etc. They do have a Mardi Gras party on PLeasure Island but I don't know how kid-friendly it is.

Shrove Tuesday *is* Mardi Gras; Shrove Tuesday is the Anglican name for it.

I've never encountered the pancakes at WDW, but then, I wasn't looking for them. I used to go over Mardi Gras pretty frequently until I moved away from Louisiana. Most of the Mardi Gras action in Orlando is at Universal. There is a themed party at Pleasure Island, but it is not geared for children.

There might be something at the French pavilion at Epcot, or even at the Rose & Crown; perhaps Guest Services could shed some light.

We do the shove Tuesday pancake thing at our church too. I think it would be nice to just have a pancake breakfast together as a family somewhere that day. As for Ash Wednesday, doubt you will find anything with a religious or Christian tone. Epcot however does the mask in the world showcase. Maybe an afternoon spend doing that would be fun!!
Good luck.
