Shrimp Cocktail at 50's Prime Time?

Has anyone had this lately? What type of cocktail is it? Is it shrimp mixed with red sauce or the type that is the shrimp with a cup of red sauce on the side? Not a fan of cocktail sauce so would prefer just shrimp with no sauce or lemon. Thanks in advance!

5 medium to large sized shrimp, cooked and chilled (with tails still on) lying on a piece of lettuce, with a cup of cocktail sauce in the middle. It would be easy to ask the server to have the sauce on the side, just to make sure it's prepared the way you like it.

We were on the Dining Plan and DD13 didn't want an appetizer, so I got 2 Shrimp Cocktails that night!! Yum!!

Thanks! DD5 isn't a big eater. We (DH, DD, and myself) are on DDP. I am planning on ordering 1 adult and 1 child meal with an extra appetizer OOP(the shrimp) and sharing it all. DD loves shrimp but will only eat 2 or 3. And THAT'S ALL SHE WILL EAT!!!! So I will eat her kid's meal and the remaining shrimp. DH will have his meal and we will all share the desserts. I hope that plan works out!
