Are the shrimp hot or cold at Cape May Clambake? Thanks!

Cold peel and eat

The only seafood at CMCB is:

steamed mussles and clams
fish of the day (Thur and Fri it is fried talapia)
Clam chowder
Peel and eat shrimp

We LOVE this place

We were there about 3 weeks ago and all they had for shrimp was Peel and Eat. :thumbsup2 I loved this place!

Sure? I remember them hot; I may be wrong. They are cooked in a "shrimp boil" and left in the pot. Definitely not "iced".

Your memory is good. Several years ago they served hot, steamed spicy shrimp. It was great and the reason we went. Then they decided to take it off the menu and replace it with cold peel and eat salad shrimp. I was so upset as the hot shrimp was my favorite seafood item. We didn't go back for a year, but finally started going back. I still struggle to find something to eat, but DH likes it there so I go for him. I miss the hot shrimp!
