From screamscape.com:
2003 - Shrek 3D / Jimmy Neutron - (10/30/02) Weve heard that the official name for the new simulator may be Jimmy Neutros Nicktoon Blast.
(10/22/02) Screamscape has heard some very good news about Shrek 3D. It seems that Shrek 3D will be an all Digital Theater. What does this mean? Cinema fans often drool over seeing the latest Pixar and Star Wars films in Digital Theaters that offer the DLP projection technology. In fact the the last Star Wars film (Episode 2) was filmed entirely in Digital Video instead of film, so if you saw it in a DLP Theater, you saw the best image possible. Shrek 3D will be done the same way. (Update: I had previously thought that Shrek 3D would be the first all Digital 3D Theater attraction at a theme park, it seems the Lego Racers 4D Theater attraction at Legoland California was first.)
(9/27/02) The latest word from the Fairy Tale world is that the Shrek 3D seats will have some new features we havent seen before. They will be able to rise and fall in a similar fashion to the T2/3D seats, but it seems they will also be able to pitch you forward and back as well in parts of the film.
(8/4/02) From what weve heard Hitchcock is expected to continue operations until the end of Jan 2003.
(7/17/02) An Interview with Bob Gault in a Florida paper he talked a bit about the new attractions for the park. He compared Shrek 3D will be like our Terminator 2 3-D ride on steroids. The OgreVision attraction will include the usual batch of tricks of smoke, mist, water as well as seats that will move and perform a few new tricks on the audience. Meanwhile he also confirmed that the new Jimmy Neutron ride will use the existing motion-bases along with the brand new computer animated film to take you on a wild rocket ride experiement that goes wrong. Along the way you will also encounter the Rugrats, Spongebob Squarepants, and the Wild Thornberrys.
