:earseek: That's a LOT of people going to see a sequel...I thought sequels were usually worse than the original? ;) I haven't gone to see this yet...but I'm surprised it made THIS much!!

WOW! That is a lot! DH and I went to see it last night. We thought it was cute, but didn't feel as though it was as good as the 1st movie.

It'll need that money to make up for all the promotional items they put out for this movie! WOW!

They would've made a few more dollars if WMBarry and me found a theatre after it rained at Six Flags yesterday! :p

Well, it was released in a record number of theaters...over 4,000. That's unheard of. Of course its going to make a ton of money.

I just saw it and was unimpressed.

At our local theatre they had it showing on 6 screens. A showing started almost every half hour or 15 minutes. DBF and I went to see it last night and thought it was pretty cute. However, we are in our 20s and felt that many parts of it were a little inappropriate for children. We had 2 families beside us (with 8 children) and the youngest was about 2. I think I may have left if it were me. What kind of 'children's film' is rated PG 13. I think it's ridiculous that film makers are feeling pressure to make movies more and more 'suggestive' to keep adult humor in the movies so that they can get a larger audience base. I was a little annoyed.

It isn't rated PG-13, it's only rated PG.

I guess it's because I'm 19 but I found it absolutely hysterical. Wouldn't all of the adult things that we found funny fly right over children's heads? It wasn't obvious profanity, it was subtle.

WE SAW IT YESTERDAY AND LIKED IT ALOT!!

I took my kids on friday andthought it was hysterical. Better by far from the first. I can't wait tillit comes oin video. I might go see it again next weekend. I don't thinkthere was anything bad about it and what little adult humor there was I am sure didn't faze the kids there. My kids laughed there heads off.
