Shows and DAS

This has probably been asked on here, but I was wondering if there is a fastpass que for a show can you get a DAS return time? Also if there are no fastpasses left for a ride can you still get a return time with DAS?

If the show has a fastpass entrance then yes you can get a DAS (or at least that is my understanding). The DAS and fastpass sytsem is not linked so as long as people are being admitted through the standby line you can receive a DAS return equal to the posted wait time.

It depends on the show. Most don't have reserved seating for FP, they just let FP in before everyone else. In this case, you would still need to show up early and wait for the show. Unless it is peak season and a really popular show, getting in the standby line at the time you need to arrive for FP would virtually guarantee you a spot anyway. People sometimes have trouble getting in 10 minutes before a show starts, but a FP (or DAS equivalent) would not help in that situation either. There are a couple exceptions, but for the most part FP and DAS are not usually much help with shows.

I find that most show you really do not need a return time and if there is some accommodations that you need talk to the CM most if the time if they know what you need they will try and come up with a way to help you

Yes we will ask to be seated either in the back or end of a row so we can make our escape if DS gets anxious of noisy. We try to be conscious of his behavior and effect on other people.

Unless they are counting CoP I don't know a single one you can't leave. Some have a small time you can't like the bird show in DAK or Finding Nemo and Lion King for short periods.
