Ive recently reread the post on the Sea Lice issue and, since my family and I will be cruising in May, Im looking for methods to reduce our risk of experiencing this nonserious (but irritating) skin rash. From what Ive read, it seems critical that we: 1) use the SafeSea product to minimize contact with the miniature jellyfish, and 2) shower with fresh water as soon as we get out of the ocean water. Ill order the SafeSea from the internet, so thats covered. But now Im not certain exactly how well be able to shower immediately after we get out of the ocean water. Are there showers available on the beaches at Castaway Cay for rinsing off? How about showers on the beaches around Nassau (e.g. Cable Beach, Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island)? Also, since its best to take the shower without your suit on, are these showers private enough to do this? Should I put a small bar of soap in our beach bag for this purpose?
