shower at SSR main pool?

We will be arriving at MCO from a redeye with a 5:30 AM arrival, so with ME we figure we will arrive at SSR about 7-7:30 AM. We know we will likely not be able to check into our studio at that time. We would really like to be able to take a shower before we head to the parks.

Does anyone know if there is a public shower at the Main Pool or quiet pools at SSR?

Ya know, I hadn't given it too much thought with the snow falling here... is it warm enough to swim? Should I pack the bathing suits? The swimmies? The pool toys? The noodles? Aww hell, I hope it's chilly!! :

The shower is in the spa. However, I am not sure what time the spa opens.
There are actually 2 shower areas. You want the downstairs showers, they are in the spa. There are towels, soap, shampoo, razors, blow dryers, etc. There is a bathroom upstairs w/ a shower, but it only has one and there are no amenties.

Just tell them you are waiting for your room to become available. They will ask you to leave ID at the desk. It is a very nice shower accomadation.

Just a side note-are you actually planning on going to the parks on a red-eye travel day? I could never do that-more power to you.

We don't know if we will be up to going to the parks or not, but our DD (age 16) is definitely planning on it. I DO know that DH and I will at least need to freshen up, regardless of what we do. Thanks again!

The quiet pools have showers too. Just maybe you will get some of my luck. Every trip I have taken to SSR, I have asked them to find me a non-smoking that was ready to check-in. Not only did they let me into the room at 8 am, they have been rooms over looking Downtown Disney.

I don't demand or anything like that. When they ask me a building or view preference, I just say I would take any view that would be ready first.

They had noodles at the activity desk where you rent bikes and such, just had to give your room #.
