It is actually a set, so I will be getting the wedding band soon. DF got an $800 credit to Kay's when he bought the ring, a special promotion they were running, so we are going to use that to get my band.

I just went on Kay's to get the picture of the set, and I can't find it because the ring is out of stock! I hope they still have the band! I may be going to get it tonight now!

Yeah, I finally get to play! Here are my rings:

-The dual head Mickey Ring and Mickey cut out ring is what he proposed with at HS in front of Mickey's Sorcerror's Hat...thanks to Littman's mix up with the ring

-The LeVian Aquamarine cushion cut, is the ring we fell in love with 10 months ago at Littman's. He didn't want me there when he bought it, but when he went back they had sold it He said okay order it. Salesperson who wrote down the information, wrote down the wrong information He looked everywhere for this ring ...no luck, with time running out he panic'd, he knew he wanted to be able to propose with a ring, so he found the two Mickey rings and promised we would look after things settled down in the New Year. The New Year came and we resumed our search for the ring...including contacting LeVian directly. Rings, I liked-he didn't and vice-versa. We were in the Mall on Saturday February 13th and he said let's just stop at Littman's---I didn't want nothing to do with them. But we stopped. They were extremely busy! A new salesperson approached us and we explained what had happened. She said wait and pulled a ring out of a near-by case. As she turned around, there it was. I flipped out, I couldn't believe that was the elusive ring! Without a single hesitation, he said we'd take it. The salesperson said let me get the manager, since what we went thru maybe they could do better on the price....kewl!!! The Manager knew exactly who we were and gave us a HUGE discount! Even better! The salesperson said they had just gotten in the ring on Friday Feb 12th. He purchased the ring on the spot and we wanted to have it checked and appraised, so we went back on Valentines Day and picked up the ring and paperwork. We are definately doing the happy dance!

-The other ring in the photo's is the Platinum Wedding Band he bought when we found this ring ten months ago...it has 7 diamonds on top and beautiful scrollwork on the side that matches the LeVian Engagement Ring. It's kinda odd two very different companies made rings so complimentary!

We are sooooo happy right now!!!

Like many of you, we went thru a lot of to finally find "THE RING". And when we finally seen it again...we were both totally blown away! But it's the daily life with him that makes me want to wear it in the first place and that makes me looks forward to spending the rest of my life with him! He's got a heart of gold and is definately a keeper as my grandmother would say!

Like many I'm sure, our life has been so stressful lately-work for both of us has been insane-family life has been hard because of the kids having so many snow days off and we live on the outskirts of town that tends to get hit with just so much more snow than in-town areas. But through it all he just deals with it...I don't know how because sometimes it is even too much for me to handle.

Last night I had to park at the end of our property and walk up to our house (probably a block and a half) off the main road, in heels, in snow and sleet. Suffice to say I almost fell on my face a couple of times--but I just kept digging the heels in the snow. He was not able to get our driveway plowed out before he had to leave for a meeting, because it was coming down so heavily.

I finally made it and a short time later a neighbor (who was attending the same meeting) called and asked if Glenn could come over and help him out--he too got stuck in his driveway---and his is paved and he too has four wheel drive. Glenn hadn't even made it home from the meeting yet. But he never missed a beat, he got home and went straight over and helped him out.

This morning Glenn got up early (4:30AM) and took me in the truck down to the bottom of our property where I had parked my car-just off the road. I could have put on my boots and probably made it without killing myself...but it was nice to know he did it, just because.

Sorry, I'm having a sappy Tom Cruise moment...but it's times like these that remind me why I am wearing this ring...this ring that caused us so much grief locating...suddenly gives me so much joy wearing it!

I got my promise ring on our last trip to WDW in June 09. As you can see it is a Mickey ring.

Our next trip is Sept 10.....and here is hoping for another ring to show off!!!!

The only thing he is saying is that the original place no longer sells them (I am thinking online because we are big online shoppers and they isn't anything like that where we live!) but that he found some on ebay. I would suggest trying there. Search "diamonique mickey". They have some on auction now. But I will warn you...they are pricey on there! But at least it a place to start! And yes I agree its beautiful!
