Hi everyone! I am so excited I finally get to post on this thread! I have been going through the pages longingly waiting for my now Fiancee to propose!

He did it on Thursday night and I have never been happier!!

We are getting married August 30th, 2008 at the Rose Garden at the Disneyland Hotel and then our reception will be held at the Grand California. Our honeymoon, big surprise, will be a week at WDW and then a 3 night DCL!!

Anyhow, I've been married 10 years but I'll post my engagement ring and my 10 year wedding anniversary band I just got in July. I hope you don't mind me sharing. I wear the Anniversary band on my right hand and my e-ring and wedding band where they are suppose to be.

I LOVE THEM BOTH. The E-ring isn't my exact one. My DF had my grandmother's 1/2 carot diamond from her e-ring set in a classic solitare setting for me. Very special to my heart!!

i love your ring!!! where did that come from? i'm not gonna post a pic since my e-ring/wedding ring are in my siggy...the e-ring craddles into my wedding band the wedding band is the three diamonds on the top and bottom of the center stone...i wasn't suppose to have my wedding band since we aren't married yet, but df said its to beautiful to stay in a box for a yr and you don't keep something that beautiful in a box plus hes away a lot so its kind of my reward for putting up with him. hehe. i love all these rings!!!

I forgot I can now share my e-ring It happened just over a month ago, and it was so sweet and simple. I absolutly love my ring and wouldent change a thing about it. He did so good - and knows me real well too

He knew I wanted a princess cut - cus thats all i could talk about. However, later I found out he had been planning since January looking and getting ideas, and he planned a long before I mentioned I wanted a princess that he wanted to get me a princess cut because he thinks of me as his princess.

Go figure though, he waited for the first fun event we could go on by ourselves, and I picked the beach. We went and it rained all day. But - he made it worth wild in the end after watching the non-existant sun set behind the cloudy sky.

Look at the "Hidden Mickey" ring my FDH picked out for me!!!!!!!!

Pete, out of the blue, says to me "I Have a present for you". Instantly I hope for an engagement ring. Hey, I'm a girl ok!! So I am sitting in the chair in the dining room and he comes at me with a huge bag.

Huge Bag = No ring

I am still excited to be getting a present! On top of the bag is the sweetest, most genuine love letter I have ever read. I start crying and he laughs at me. LOL Then he tells me open my present and I reach in the bag and it is a HUGE box. I open the box and there is something breakable inside. I lift off the tolp styrofome and there is the pretties Disney Snow Globe.

I take a closer look and I see that it is inscribed with a message!

I read it and look at Pete and read it again and then Pete looks into my eyes, as he is pulling a ring box out of his pocket and says "So, Will You Marry Me?" I said "Yes!" and I held my hand out, it was all shaky and he took the ring in his fingers, he was all shaky too and he placed it on my finger. I was really crying now! He put the prettiest ring I HAVE EVER SEEN on to my shaky hand. It is so shiny and sparkly and set in platinum! He hugged me and kissed me and told me how much he loved me. Then he said "There is one more thing." I said "No, there isn't, this can not be topped." I took another box out of the gift bag and inside was a Pewter DVD case, that he also had inscribed.

There is space inside for a DVD and a Picture! How awesome. So then he says to me "Did you see I had them put Lisa & Pete's Magical Wedding Day?" I said "that is why I am crying again! LOL

So we are engaged! I am so so excited! I love this man more then life it's self!
