Great decorations guys :good vibes

Hoping to put ours up on the weekend of 3rd December but have the small matter of needing to finish the decorating of the room.
Ceiling painted and wall replastered. Just the rest needing paint and papering

YOu've made me feel so much better! I thought about putting mine up today, but like you, had a section of the feature wall replastered (erm, blush) a year ago .... and still haven't repainted that section, which is now annoying me. I have no inclination to start messing about with paint trays and rollers, but since I dont feel so alone now you may have done a good deed by posting

Well I couldn't wait any longer (plus I'm busy next weekend so thought it was better going up early than late )

There are alot of UK Diser's at OKW end oct/early Nov 2012 - we are going to try and meet up - do check for details nearer the time and join us if you can.

I'm doing our tree as we speak, it's the first time I've done our tree.... I wonder if DH will notice if I put Jack Skellington on top this year rather then Tink? He doesn't like Jack

Aww, thanks so much! I appreciate the nice compliments. It is small and umm...very full but I LOVE decorating for Christmas.

Thank you so much! I think that is my goal as I always look at the magazines and feel so inspired to have that cozy look I see in so many pictures.

Thank you so much! Go for the Jack topper! Nothing wrong with a little variety. I say that but ours is a Radko Santa Mickey topper and my dh would die if I wanted to change it to something else. It is even broken in one spot where the top of the tree hit the inside and broke through the glass but it goes up every year just the same!

I've put ours up today.

I saw this when we were in the Christmas Shop in DTD and fell in love with it straight away.

The Father Christmas is from our trip to Norway.

Our local radio stations runs a competition called show us your baubles , they pick out the best trees between 1st and 23rd dec .. i was the winner on friday lol .. so i get a 3fm bauble to hang on my tree , then out of the 23 winners , they pick a winner for an i phone 4 , so heres hoping lol
