Is it better than without a reservation? I booked a late Ohana reservation today. If I show at at opening time, will they accept me or deny?

Not sure if I know what you mean, but you booked a later adr but want to eat earlier and you are thinking if you show up they will seat you?

If this is what you mean, yes and no. No it doesn't help you get seated earlier. They can check you in, but you may wait until close to your adr time before you are seated.
But you will be seated and served, it just may be at your adr time.

There is no way to know until you are standing there asking them if you can get seated. If you attempt to get seated earlier then your ADR, then you will be treated as a walk up. Having a later ADR will get you no priority in seating until it is time for your ADR (and then only as it's your turn for a table of that size).

'Ohana is a very very busy restaurant. I would not count on getting seated without an ADR (which you would be doing since your reservation is much later). If you want to try it, be there at opening and ask. Make sure your whole party is there otherwise they will tell you no for sure.

If you are talking about showing up MUCH earlier (hours?) than your ADR, then you will most certainly be treated as a walk-up. Especially at 'Ohana, because it seems like they seat in "waves" so they can cook for a large group at once.
