Hi,

My ADR windows opens in a few days and I'm trying to figure out what time the following shows are in order to pick the right ADR time.

We are going 12/17 - 12/27

Holiday Wishes on MVMCP nights - most likely 12/20
HEA on non-MVMCP nights - most likely 12/19
Sunset Seasons Greetings
Jingle Bell Jingle Jam
Fantasmic
Rivers of Light

Thanks for the help

Is there anyone that could offer information from last year for the same week so I can make some educated guesses?

If you are staying on site, log into MDE and go to "my itinerary" and "add parks" You'll be able to see 196 days in advance. HEA, Holiday Wishes, Fantasmic, and Illuminations official times are posted so far.

I went to MDE but it only lists stuff until 12/22. Any idea when the rest of December will be listed?

I had no idea you could do this! You learn something new every day on these boards.

We are going at about the same time and I'm having the same problem.

My biggest concern at the moment is Fantasmic. It's currently officially listed for 9 pm every night Christmas week (and no fireworks), but it's been 7 pm in the past (with fireworks at 9 pm). I don't want to make a dinner ADR for 6 pm and then have Fantasmic changed to 7 pm.

Anyone have a guess as to when Fantasmic will really be?

Also, I don't think the wdwinfo link is the most updated -- I have seen other calendars for last year that listed MK as 7 am - 12 am every day that week.

This is a fair/accurate statement. I wouldn't use those calendars if one needs 100% final accuracy on historical hours - there are times some late changes do not seem to make their way to that schedule.

Granted it can change, but I tend to think with TSL there's a high probability of later HS hours this December, so last year may not tell us all that much about what we may see in terms of the entertainment schedule this year. I'd be inclined to plan for 9pm, I think.

I know last-minute changes to the schedule happen all the time but it really baffles me why the people who do the Disney schedule can't get their act together -- surely they can predict crowds more than a few days or weeks in advance. What is the purpose of the last-minute changes? Are they really making fine-tuned adjustments based on up-to-the minute data? Or do they just want it to appear that way?

My plan is to do an 11 am Fantasmic package lunch at 11 am. If I were planning for a 9 pm Fantasmic I would make a dinner ADR for about 5:30 pm but that would not work at all if Fantasmic ends up being at 7 pm. Since we want Sci-Fi (which will be hard to get and harder to change), I'm thinking I should book 4:30 pm just to be on the safe side.
