Show reservations for large party

Hello all!

We're considering doing the Poly's Aloha show as a welcome party, but it would be for a very large group - approximately 50 (give or take). How do I go about making this reservation? My sales rep said that this would be through Disney dining and not them, since it's not a rehearsal or wedding event. This is for 2011 if that helps. Thanks!

I know a lot of brides here who plan dinner for a large group usually call the restuarant directly. That may be your best bet.

yes if you are booking a large party dining reservation, you must do this through the Disney dining. We booked with the restaurant directly when we reserved our reception dinner at Citricos. But when we booked our Welcome Dinner through Ohanas, we just called through the Disney dining people (same line that you book ADRs through).

We just made reservations for our wedding party of 20 at the GF Cafe' in October 2010. Just FYI, with a large party they will give you a selected menu. We had a choice of a 5 entrees and 2 appetizers

We had a party of 38 at Hoop-Dee-Doo. I believe my IL's booked for 50 by calling Disney Dining directly and then they were able to change that number as long as it was no later than one week before the date of the show.

Good to hear. I was wondering how to do this when I won't know an RSVP number until about a month before. I guess I'll make reservations for a little over what we expect just in case. Thanks!
