I would like to see what kind of photo's to expect with this lens. Can you show me any WDW photo's you have taken with this lens, PPPPPPPlease:worship:

Thanks

Don't have the 18-270 myself...I have the 18-250 version. From everything I've heard though, in all honesty, they should be nearly identical - the 200-270 range will be a wee bit softer than the lower end, and some barrel distortion at the wider end - both to be expected in a superzoom lens like this...still quite a usable lens with great range and convenience and what I'd consider the perfect travel/all purpose lens. If pics from the 18-250 version help at all, feel free to browse a few thousand shots:

Don't be fooled by the Sony badging on it...it's optically a Tamron 18-250 under the Sony livery.

I have the Tamron 18-270. I use it a lot so I don't have to change lenses. Here a few shots from San Fransisco.

Great photo's everyone. Anymore? It will help with the sale of getting this lens. Thanks

I had this lense when we went to WDW in November but I used the 18-105 Nikon most of the time because the 18-270 is a lot heavier. I will see if I can find some pictures I took with the 18-270. I know I used it sometimes.

I have this lens mounted on a D40 or a D3000 we just got back from Alaska and this lens was great.I haven't PP to many yet to post but the ones I have done look ok to me

Any other?:surfweb:popcorn:: Thanks:hippie:

Here are some other random pictures. I don't have time right now to look for Disney pictures. I am getting ready for a football tailgate this weekend and the Disney pictures are on another hard drive that is not hooked up to the laptop right now. These were taken in July at Myrtle Beach.

Here are two pictures I took of my son and his girlfriend. I was trying to get some portrait practice.

I have the Tamron 18-250 in Pentax k-mount. I love the versatility of the lens!!! BUT, IQ could be much better until you get to f 8 (IMHO) I keep going back to my Primes if IQ is what I am after. There is a lot of barrell distortion at the wide end and it gets pretty slow when zoomed.

All in all I love the lens but keep the ISO at 400 or higher to gain speed for any kind of action shots especially when zoomed... remember this is my opinion. I think I paid $350 for it and still think that it was a great purchase and as such whenever we go somewhere it is the lens on my camera until I can afford faster glass!!! :)

any others out there?:confused3:surfweb:

Not sure what kind of photos you're actually looking for, but there's a Flickr group (link) dedicated SPECIFICALLY to the Tamron 18-270mm lens. There, you'll find almost 11,000 photos taken by this Tamron lens. Hopefully, you can find the specific photo you're looking for.

Hope that helps. :confused:
