Show me your resort Christmas decorations

Show me how you decorate your resort window/door for the Christmas holidays. Crossing off my bucket list a trip to Disney to see the Christmas decorations. I was wondering how people decorate their windows or doors of their resorts. Looking for ideas or pictures.

I am a DVC member and we are asked not to decorate anything that is visible outside the room. I agree with that request. What resort level are you asking about?

We are staying at AS Movies.

Here is a picture of our room window from a recent trip. We also had a mini Christmas tree, mistletoe, and some other decorations in the room. We loved having it be extra festive! Have fun decorating!
This is of our window at Port Orleans Riverside, but we've also decorated at Coronado Springs.

Thanks! We used suction cups for the lights and used a timer so they would turn on every day at the same time. It was so nice to come back to our room to this each night.

Bought 2 sets of clear lights, extension cord, and suction cups. Thanks for the great idea. Just have to get a timer and I'm all set. Found small solar window candles at the dollar store only bought one but I'm going back tomorrow to get a few more.

Sounds great! The window candles are a nice touch. We did that one year at Coronado and used a battery operated candle. We also strung the lights into a Christmas tree design one year as well.

I had no idea DVC members were asked not to decorate outside. We rent points at OKW over Christmas every year and some of the windows and balconies are decorated with lights etc. Would they be asked to remove them?

What count lights was this? Do you know what the measurement was?

What count lights was this? Do you know what the measurement was?

Not sure of the exact measurement, but I'm sure it was a 100 count set of lights. I think I picked them up at Christmas Tree Shops along with the window decals.

This was our first time to stay at WDW at Christmas, in 2002, at the Boardwalk. Used the 3M hooks that are removable without damaging the wallpaper for the stockings. We also strung Christmas lights around our balcony. Christmas Day was near the end of our stay, so we would take turns running off with one of the kids to find stocking stuffers for the non-present sibling and parent to open on Christmas morning. We packed their Christmas eve gift (new pjs) and a single Christmas gift already wrapped and shipped it to the resort in a large box with the decorations you see.
