Thanks for the response. I think I'll tell myself, "STOP" and just go with the ribbon. Yours is much cuter but there must come a point (before I enter into the realm of insanity) where good enough works. Unless, that is, you are willing to finish up all of the seam ripping for me... I monogram so that end of things isn't difficult...

If I could have opened up and pulled the stitches from the backside I think it would have looked better. I ripped with the seam ripper and then used tweezers to pull the threads. But it started getting a bit fuzzy and then I think I may have gone through! Ouch!

Oh well. We'll be there when you are so if you see my 2nd class version you'll know yours is cuter! Ha!


Has anyone used those cute license tag templates? They are somewhere on the DIS.

I used the tweezers too to pull the string out. I also had a 2 year old wanting to sit on my lap while I did it. I had to go to my mom's house so she could watch him while I finished.

Mine also got a little fuzzy, but our name covered it up. No worries! And don't look at mine too close if you see us. You might see some fuzz.

Wish I could help, but as you probably know there is lots of packing to be done in the next 2 weeks. DH and I cleaned the house good today so that is done and out of the way.
